1. Acceptance
By accessing or using the University's website or learning platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen years of age to enroll. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you have provided is accurate.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential, and must notify the University immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Academic conduct
Students are expected to:
- Complete work honestly and with academic integrity
- Meet agreed submission deadlines
- Engage with course activities
- Treat fellow students and faculty with respect
Academic dishonesty, plagiarism or cheating may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal from a program.
5. Intellectual property
Course materials, content and platform features are the property of the University and are protected by copyright. Students may not reproduce, distribute or share course materials without written permission.
6. Tuition and payment
Tuition falls due according to the schedule agreed at enrollment. Failure to pay may result in suspension of access. The refund policy is available on request from the Admissions Office.
7. Limitation of liability
The University provides educational services in good faith. It is not liable for:
- Employment outcomes following graduation
- Decisions by other institutions on the transfer of credit
- Technical disruption beyond its reasonable control
- Third-party content or services
8. Religious character
Saint Mary's is a Christian institution. Students of all faiths and of none are admitted on the same terms and are not required to subscribe to any statement of faith. All students agree to respect the character of the University and to conduct themselves in accordance with its community standards.
9. Institutional status
The University is not accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education. Credit earned here may not be accepted by other institutions. See the institutional status statement for the position in full.
10. Disputes
Disputes shall be resolved through mediation and, if necessary, binding arbitration in Pinellas County, Florida, under Florida law.
11. Termination
The University may terminate access for breach of these terms, academic dishonesty or non-payment of tuition, following appropriate notice and due process.
12. Changes
These terms may be modified on notice. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
