Our Commitment to Innovation
St. Mary's was not built by adding AI tools to a traditional university structure. It was designed from the ground up as an AI-native institution, one where technology and pedagogy are woven together at the deepest level. Every lesson is available in three modes because we believe students learn differently in different contexts. Every assessment includes AI conversational checkpoints because we believe comprehension should be verified, not assumed. Every student has a personal AI tutor because we believe the research: one-to-one instruction is the most effective form of education, and AI is the only way to deliver it at scale.
This commitment to innovation is inseparable from our faith mission. The Great Commission calls us to teach all nations. For centuries, the Church has adopted every available tool to fulfill that mission, from the printing press to radio to the internet. AI is the next chapter in that story.
