Screens From the Platform
On the Devices Students Already Own
The platform runs in a browser on Windows and Apple computers and on most tablets. There is no application to install and no specialist software to obtain. It is not built for a telephone screen, which is too small for the lesson viewer to work properly.
Audio lessons integrate with the device's own media controls, so playback can be paused and resumed from a locked screen, from headphones or from a vehicle's controls. A lesson begun on a commute may be finished at a desk, and progress follows the student rather than the device.
What You Will Need
The platform is designed to run on equipment students already own.
A modern browser
Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge, on any operating system.
An internet connection
Sufficient for streaming audio and video. Standard broadband or mobile data is adequate.
A microphone
(optional)For spoken questions and oral assessment. Every spoken feature has a written alternative.
A camera
(optional)For invigilated examinations and video meetings with faculty. Not required for ordinary coursework.
The Admissions Office will take applicants through the lesson viewer, all three formats and the assessment center, and answer questions as they arise.
